Mission Statement

Land of Goshen Charities

Land of Goshen Charities exists to transform high school years into a sanctuary of healing and resilience. By intervening at the onset of ninth grade and sustaining support through senior year, we empower students affected by childhood trauma to break cycles of pain, reject substance abuse as a coping mechanism, and build futures of purpose, stability, and hope.

Mission Statement

Sobriety Beyond the 12-Steps

To guide and support individuals who have completed the 12 steps through the unmarked territory of long-term recovery, addressing the emotional blind spots, identity shifts, and everyday challenges that structured programs don't always cover, so listeners can move from simply staying sober to building a connected, purposeful, and resilient life beyond the steps.

For people who completed the steps

But still feel unsettled, tender, or unsure what comes next.

Sobriety can be real and still feel confusing. The nervous system, relationships, grief, identity, and purpose may need a different kind of attention than a checklist can offer.

When sobriety is stable but your body still feels on alert

A grounding conversation about why long-term recovery can still feel confusing, and how to build safety without shaming yourself.

32 min listen

Why it can feel confusing

Completing the steps can bring sobriety. It does not always bring felt safety.

Many people expect long-term recovery to feel lighter right away. Instead, old alarms can get louder once the crisis quiets down. That does not mean you failed recovery. It may mean your body is finally asking for care, language, boundaries, and support.

Sobriety Beyond The 12 Steps lives in that honest space: part media home, part coaching doorway, part library for the next chapter.

Nervous-system support

We help stop the next cycle of addiction before it starts by teaching recovering addicts and alcoholics how to regulate their own nervous systems, so they never need a substance to feel okay.

“I thought finishing the steps meant I should be fine. This gave me language for why I still felt guarded, and a compassionate next step.”

For the person still here

You are someone now

You don't have to wait until you're clean to be someone. You already are someone right now - someone fighting, someone surviving, someone still here.

Your addiction doesn't erase your worth. It doesn't cancel your name or your story. Right now, in the middle of the struggle, you matter. Your breath matters.

Your broken effort to keep going? That matters. You are not a future hope. You are a present reality. And who you are right now is worth showing up for.
